Artistori is opening a fictional cafe and needs our little artists to put on their little chef hats to come up with a menu that features their favourite dishes! This project not only enhances students' artistic skills but also encourages them to think critically about the connection between visual representation and culinary experiences. Through collaboration and creativity, students can bring a fictional cafe to life on paper.

Fashion Design Inspired by Architecture (VAP)

Project Duration: 11 lessons at 2 hours per lesson.

Project Period: From Friday 21st June to Sunday 1st Sept 2024

In this project, students are encouraged to merge the worlds of fashion and architecture by creating their own fashion designs and illustrations inspired by iconic architectural structures in Singapore. This project not only enhances their design skills but also fosters a deeper appreciation for both fashion and architecture, highlighting the interconnectedness of art and design.


Students explore these landmarks, studying their unique elements and cultural significance, and then design fashion pieces reflecting these architectural motifs. This project fosters creativity, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation while enhancing technical skills in fashion illustration and garment construction. By creating a portfolio of original designs, students connect art and architecture, gaining a deeper appreciation for their environment.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Korea, where temples adorned with intricate fish decorations beckon you to explore. From pillars to ceilings, these symbolic fish motifs, inspired by ancient legends, adorn every corner of the temple, accompanied by the gentle melody of wooden fish gongs and wind chimes.


Legend has it that a mischievous monk, transformed into a fish as a lesson in discipline, serves as the inspiration behind these whimsical creations. Today, traditional Korean wind chimes, or 풍경, crafted from copper and bronze, echo this tale, their fish-shaped clappers reminding us to stay diligent.


Join us in our artistic endeavor as we sculpt clay into fish-shaped wind chimes, each one a unique expression of creativity. From moulding to painting, every step is infused with the vibrant spirit of our young artists.
