With advancing technology and convenience being brought to consumers via smart phones, recording videos to create and sharing moments through social media in the form of videos has become a trend. The rise of TikTok and many platforms have shown that videography is an essential skill to have today. Artistori will be leading our Creative Visual Art young artists to explore professional video shooting techniques and editing tools that can be combined to create effects and transitions and to tell a story through a short interesting film.

Yayoi Kusama Series - Portrait - Part 1 (CMM)

Next Creative Mix Media Art Project for 4 years old to 8 years old

Not squares and triangles but circles. We will soon be entering a world of repetitive circles, also known as polka dots. The simple and commonly used pattern becomes Yayoi Kusama’s iconic motifs in her artworks.


In this series of three parts, we will be diving into Kusama’s world and her art processes with our little artists. The final part will combine all parts completed together, even if you don't have all parts, the standalone still looks amazing!


In this first part, we will start off with introducing Yayoi Kasuma and painting her portrait.


Learning Points:

  • Acrylic Painting

  • Colour theory

  • Portrait Drawing

Duration: 2 sessions at 1 hour 30 minutes per session.
