Next Creative Mix Media Art Project for N1 to P1
Have you ever seen a little cat figurine, with one or both of their paws raising, sitting by cashier counter in retail stores? This is the well-known cultural icon from Japan, Maneki Neko or Fortune Cat. Why and how did Maneki Neko become a cultural icon and a symbolism of good luck? Apart from the commonly seen white and gold Maneki Neko, there are other colours variations, and each have their special meanings!
Together with our little artists, let’s find out more about this cute lucky icon as they design their own Maneki Neko! Meow!
