Creative Mix Media Art - 4 to 8 years old
Duration: 3 sessions at 1 hour 30 minute per session
Period: From the week of 20th January 2021 until the week of 3rd February 2021.
Classes run physically-in-class and online as well.

Writing Chinese New Year idioms in mandarin
Planning and layout of art and words
Drawing and painting cute animals
Chinese New Year is around the corner and there are so many fun things to do – shopping at the market for fresh pussy willow plant, baking New Year goodies with the family, receiving red packets, and best of all…watching the spectacular New Year’s celebration in Chinatown!
By tradition, Chinese families love to paste couplets on their walls or door panels when celebrating the coming of this Spring Festival. The couplets are generally written on red paper and the sentences contain auspicious meanings.
Our little artists in Creative Mix Media Art shall be led to write Chinese auspicous and meaningful idioms and with their creation of aborable little animals, we shall usher in this Chinese New Year, the year of the Ox, with huge blessings where everyone will grow strong and healthy, be blessed with lots of love and laughter always and excel in your dreams!
年又称过年，即春节，是华人一年之中最重要最隆重的传统节日。每逢过年，大人们就忙碌着打扫庭院，添置新衣，到市场上购买柳枝做为迎接新春的植物，到超市选购过年的团圆饭食材，烘烤饼干和甜点…
而对于孩子们而言，最开心的事莫过于过年，按照传统习俗，华人家庭喜欢在庆祝这个春节的到来时在他们的墙壁或门板上贴上对联。对联通常写在红纸上，句子含有吉祥的意义。意言社即将带领我们的小艺术家决定为新年添加上自己的过年方式，用笔墨描绘一幅自己创造的对联，绘制可爱的小动物并配合有意义的谚语来迎接新年的运气和繁荣！祝大家新年快乐！身心健康！恭喜发财！牛年大吉！吉星高照！也祝我们的小画家们快高长大，笑口常开！学业进步！

We will still need to adhere to the new norm of life, measures and precautions that ensures our hygiene...
Our classes will be equipped with cameras to include concurrent online classes together with physical classes.
